We emphase on using farm fresh, ingredient driven homemade items. Our menu, includes delicious pizza, burgers, pastas, soups, salads, sandwiches and rolls, plus a range of vegetarian, gluten free and halal.

Administration Expertise

Rostering. We have a bank of staff who can plug gaps re absentees.
Payroll. We employ the staff and attend to super, workcover, leave entitlements etc.
Accounts. We collate and pay suppliers invoices.
Food Safety. We comply with the Food Act and Food Standards code 2006. And ensure food for sale is safe and suitable for food consumption.
Insurances. We take care of Insuring our products as well as a $20m Public Liability cover.
Catering Functions
We have a team of trained chefs offering a wide variety of menus from Finger Foods, High Teas, Buffets, Sit Down Dinners, Carveries and a take home family meal menu for teachers and admin staff.
Many schools will have a dinner for Parent Teacher nights where we can offer the teachers a formal sit down dinner or a smorgasbord or even individual packed dinners. Other functions we cater for may be something small as an up market lunch for the principal entertaining dignitaries or maybe a cocktail party for certain school events or fundraisers.
Quality Control
Management conducts regular quality control inspections and audits to ensure our standards are being met.
Hygiene and cleanliness are given the highest priority at Metropolitan Canteens. Staff are required to maintain a high level of personal hygiene. We ensure the school canteen is clean and well presented at all times.
We deal with local government, adhering to the food safety programs required. Temperature monitoring of foods served, deliveries, fridges and freezers are of high importance.
